Bear Creek Older Does
Bear Creek Boer’s is offering 10 of their older Doe’s for sale. Head’s up, you “will not” buy these doe’s on how “they” look, you will buy them on what we and “you” hope they will produce for you. It would be totally awesome if they could go to 1 or 2 homes, or at least go in pair’s, as they have all but one been raised here on the farm.
If you do the math, the whole herd would be $3300.00, I have recently written on this website about how investing in CD’s is not very profitable right now, NO, I am not a financial planner, just using common sense. If you could find a rate of 1.5% and invested the $3300.00 for a year you would get $49.50 at the end of the year, yikes, not good. IF, with these doe’s you could get 15 kids and sell them for $300.00 that would gross you $4500.00, thus $1200.00 more than what you paid for the doe’s to pay for their food etc. and you would still have the kid factory. To sum up, most of our kids that we sell start at $500.00 thus you could have a better bottom line than I projected, but, I must also advise what farmers have to deal with that CD investors do not, your initial investment is not guaranteed, you could lose all of the Doe’s and get nothing in return. Kinda like going to Las Vegas.
There are 8 priced at $350.00 each and 2 priced at $500.00 each. But, if you take 2 or more we will drop $50.00 on each one.

Update: I just noticed that 3 of the kids below that have been sold are out of these doe's that are for sale. 344, 383 and 393, also, Jeremiah on the Bucks page that is on hold is out of Seminole.
Update 3 Sep 2010: 90 and 108 will be on hold until 2 Oct 10, pending receipt of deposit.
52, Seminole, 64 and 42 are now unavailable, so that leaves 4 left for sale: 38, 57, 68 and 70.
