Joshua had a great weekend in Harrison, AR on 17 and 18 May 2009, there were 3 shows. Kay Garrett and Chip Kemp made him the Overall Grand Champion Buck and Barry Watts made him Overall Reserve Grand Champion Buck. |

 Joshua's First Kids, Tripletts, 2 Doe's and a Buck, DOB 1/20/08 Beautiful Buck, was shown at the North Missouri Boer Goat Show held in Chillicothie, MO on 19 and 20 May 2007. He placed 3rd on both days, Judges were David Carwell and Tracy Kiehl. He weighed 125 lbs. on 12 June 2007 for an average daily gain of .73 lbs. per day. Picture was taken 21 Aug 2007. UPDATE 5 Aug 07: Joshua placed first in the 6 - 9 month old Buck Class at the Ozark Empire Fair, Springfield, MO on 3 Aug 07. He then went on to be the Junior Reserve Champion Buck. Judge was Julie Brown from Florida. UPDATE 21 Aug 07: Joshua placed first at MO State Fair in Sedalia, Judge Chip Kemp, he also placed first at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, IA, Judge was Norman Kohl. Yogi and Joshua won best pair of bucks at the Iowa State Fair.
ONE MORE UPDATE 20 Oct 07:
On the 29th of September Joshua won Junior Reserve Champion In Harrison, AR at the Northwest Arkansas District Fair, Judge was Barry Watts. He won First Place at the AR Meat Goat Association Show in Harrison, AR on the 30th of September, Judge was Tom Dugas.
Joshua is still winning even after going into the 9 – 12 month old class and being one of the youngest in the class. The Judge was Doug Glosser, he won Reserve Grand Champion Buck. Then he and Dancing Bear won Best Pair of Bucks.
Joshua has accumulated 45 points towards ennoblement. |

We love his bone, breed character, body volume and this picture does not do him justice. He also has a great personality and we cannot wait until we see his kids. We will be putting him in with the girls in July, so Christmas is always exciting at our house. He came with 29 points and we will continue his show career, but his job comes first, so he may not be in great show shape when you see him at the shows. |

It is with such great sadness that I must convey DSM Richard crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 15 Dec 2007. Killian's Double Impact
Killian's Double Impact was our second herd sire. He was the sire of many of our Doe's that we still have in our breeding program. He is a double bred Eggsfile Grandson.
We sold Double Impact a couple of years ago. We got word in Feb 2007 that he has died. Was fine that night and found dead the next morning. We are so sad to learn of this news and our condolences go out to the owners. He would have been 6 years old 20 March 2007. |
